On April 17, 2024, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (“Board”) issued a procedural order and initiated a BGS proceeding for the period starting June 1, 2025 (Docket No. ER24030191). On July 1, 2024, the EDCs filed their proposal for the procurement of BGS. September 4, 2024, was the deadline for stakeholders to file initial comments on BGS procurement proposals. On Friday, September 20, 2024, a Legislative-type Hearing was held virtually to hear additional comments on the proposals.
The deadline to file final comments to respond to issues raised in the Initial Comments, issues raised at the Legislative-type Hearing, or questions issued by Board Staff, is Monday, October 7, 2024.
Comments should be submitted directly to the specific docket listed above using the “Post Comments” button on the Board’s Public Document Search tool. Comments are considered “public documents” for purposes of the State’s Open Public Records Act. Only public documents should be submitted using the “Post Comments” button on the Board’s Public Document Search tool. Any confidential information should be submitted in accordance with the procedures set forth in N.J.A.C. 14:1-12.3. Confidential information may also be filed electronically via the Board’s e-filing system, or by email to the Secretary of the Board.
