As stated in the November 21, 2024 Order approving the 2025 BGS Auction Process, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (“Board”) will consider the results of the BGS-RCSP Auction and the BGS-CIEP Auction each in its entirety, and certify the results of each Auction for all of the EDCs, or for none of them, no later than the second business day after the last Auction closes. As defined in the November 21, 2024 Order, a “business day” is a day when the Board is open for business. Should weather or other conditions make the Board’s offices inaccessible, the period will run until the end of the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday.
The Board is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, to consider the results of the 2025 BGS-RSCP and BGS-CIEP Auctions as part of its scheduled Board Agenda Meeting which will be held at the Board Hearing Room, 1st Floor, 44 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton, NJ and will begin at 10:00 A.M. The meeting can be viewed live here.
If New Jersey State Offices are closed on February 12, 2025, the Board will address this matter at a virtual meeting scheduled for February 13, 2025.
The Notice regarding the Board’s meeting is attached to this announcement. Once the Board has rendered a decision, the Auction Manager will send an announcement with further information.
