On January 28, 2025, the BGS Auction Manager posted a sample calculation related to the Class I obligation in New Jersey. This sample calculation considers reductions to suppliers’ Class I obligations related to:
- Solar Renewable Energy Certificates;
- Transition Renewable Energy Certificates; and
- SREC-IIs arising from New Jersey’s Solar Successor Incentive Program.
The sample calculation is posted to the Renewable Energy Portfolio Standards matrix on the additional data page of the BGS Data Room. Please note that the sample calculation of the Class I obligation is illustrative only, and that the data used to construct the sample calculation is also illustrative and does not correspond to actual data or to forecast values.
