On April 6, 2022, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (“Board”) issued a procedural order and initiated a BGS proceeding for the period starting June 1, 2023 (Docket No. ER22030127). By July 1, 2022, the EDCs filed their proposal for the procurement of BGS.
Initial comments from interested stakeholders on any aspect of the EDCs’ proposal must be filed by Friday, September 2, 2022. Comments should be submitted directly to the specific docket listed above using the “Post Comments” button on the Board’s Public Document Search tool. Comments are considered “public documents” for purposes of the State’s Open Public Records Act and any confidential information should be submitted in accordance with the procedures set forth in N.J.A.C. 14:1-12.3. Final Comments, which are due October 11, 2022, can only be used to respond to issues raised in the Initial Comments, issues raised at the Legislative-type hearing, or questions issued by Board staff.
