In its Order approving the BGS Auction Process (Docket No. ER18040356), the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (“Board”) recognized that the Clean Energy Act did not provide full clarity on the BGS Suppliers’ SREC and Class I responsibilities. Staff held a stakeholder meeting on these issues and subsequently provided its recommendations to the Board at the December 2018 regular agenda meeting. The Board approved the Staff’s recommendation and issued an Order on December 21, 2018. On December 28, 2018, the Board issued a revised Order correcting for two inaccuracies further described in the accompanying Board Secretary Letter. The revised Order and Secretary Letter have been posted to the “bgs orders” page of the “auction” tab on the BGS Auction website.
