FAQ-22

For FAQ-18, what is No. 4 “Total Retail”?  Do we need to apply de-ration factors to excess generation?

Total Retail Hourly Load, as defined in the Data Description document posted to the Data Room page of the BGS Auction website, is zonal load (all customers) less wholesale customer load.  All hourly load data must be adjusted by the Hourly De-Ration Factors in order to achieve settlement loads.  After summing excess generation to the gross loads, it would be appropriate to adjust the net load by the Hourly De-Ration Factors in order to achieve estimates of settlement loads.
